Getting started

Forms is built for speed. From sign-up to a finished form takes about sixty seconds — and if you pick the right template, your first form is done before you finish reading this page.

1. Sign up

Head to forms.adaptensor.com/sign-up and create an account. Forms uses Adaptensor's shared sign-on, so the same account works across every Adaptensor product.

2. Run the onboarding wizard

First time in, Forms walks you through a four-step wizard:

  • Tell us about your work — used to recommend templates. You can skip it.
  • Pick a starting point — Blank, Contact, Feedback, RSVP, Lead generation, or the full Branded estimate (a complete Bigfoot-quality quote with header bar, comparison cards, line-item table, totals, T&Cs, and dual-party sign-off).
  • Name your form — pre-filled from the template; edit it or accept it.
  • Pick an accent color — preset palette or any hex. Used on the public form's buttons and focus states.

Hit Finish. Forms creates the form server-side, seeds every field (and for the Branded estimate, the entire widget tree and signing parties), and drops you straight into the editor.

3. Edit by typing — or by talking

The editor is a document, not a settings page. Click any field to rename it. Click Add field for the next one — pick a type from the menu. Drag the grip handle on the left of any field to reorder. See Building a form for every keystroke the editor responds to.

Prefer to describe the form out loud? AdaptGent sits above the field list — click Voice, dictate the widgets you want, and Forms stages them all in one shot.

4. Publish

When the form looks right, click Publish. Forms generates a clean public URL like forms.adaptensor.com/f/your-form. Share that anywhere — in an email, on social, on your site. To put it inside your own page, see Embedding.

5. Watch responses come in

Every submission lands in the Responses tab. Browse them inline, download any one as a branded PDF, export the whole set to CSV. If you wired AdaptDoc, each submission also shows its current signing status (Draft → Sent → Signed).
